Possibly the most impressive display of altostratus radiatus clouds that I have ever seen, from this February 10, 2017, over a couple of fields in Greensboro, NC. A 10 image panorama was not even big enough!
Storm clouds above Cumberland Falls in eastern Kentucky, captured April 2017. This roaring waterfall is estimated to travel over rocks that are over 250 million years old, and it is often referred to as the 'Niagara of the South'. Many beautiful walkways offer vantage points of the falls from different angles, and the visiting area even offers lunch and coffee.
