An abandoned farm sits underneath the milky way outside of Bartlett, TX, April 10, 2014. This photo was a 14 image panorama, to capture the full scene. While the picture was shooting, I used an off camera flash to light paint the buildings, using one pop for the fill light and three pops from the side. The Milky Way lights up the sky behind the Bodie Island Lighthouse, in North Carolina. The lighthouse was built in 1859 and overlooks what is known as the Graveyard of the Atlantic, where over 5000 ships have sunk.
