The Milky Way above a winery in northern NC and a view of pilot mountain
The universe and my favorite tree lit by the rising moon, at the Rocky Knob Recreation Area along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. I have been planning this image for years, and I finally had the opportunity and good enough weather to give it a go. Captured a few days ago. Late August, 2016.
