Vibrant sunset and pelican fly-by from the Outer Banks 2021. If you ever use any of the NC ferries, I suggest going during a sunset time. This was seen from the Hatteras to Ocracoke ferry, which is free to the public and a nice ride at over an hour long! Over the years this route across the Hatteras Inlet/Pamlico Sound has become much longer, and continues to change as hurricanes and natural forces alter the sand bars and safe navigation path.

Rainbow of stars and airglow above a shipwreck at the Outer Banks, along the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. This was a 78 image multi-row panorama captured in May 2021 during an exceptionally clear night. I could see the entire Milky Way with my bare eyes, and knew I had to try and capture the entire scene. The full sized version of this can be printed huge, or zoomed in to see small areas of the image in great detail.
